Sharon's Bio

Back to Bios

Sharon began singing when she was very young. She was guided by her mother, a high school choral director, until she started formal voice lessons in the 9th grade. Sharon performed in numerous musical productions in high school before being accepted into James Madison University as a music education major. While at JMU she was a member of the a capella group Overtones. Upon graduation she taught elementary school music in Richmond for a year. Sharon took over the lead vocals from Martie McNaulty when Martie had to leave for greater family responsibilities. Since that time Sharon's growth as a singer and front man has been remarkable. All the vocal training in her background is very obvious when she sings and her stage show has grown in leaps and bounds.
